My name is AndrewBlackSwordsman and I cosplay as diferent variations of Kirito from Sword Art Online!
How it All Began
I have been a fan of Anime since I was a kid. I grew up on Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and more. After watching those, I took a long break from watching Anime. In 2014, a friend/co-worker introduced me to Sword Art Online while we were on a lunch break and I fell in love with the series immediately.
I first cosplayed as Kirito at Anime Expo 2014. Since then, I have been working to improve my Kirito cosplays and adding more variations.
I created an Instagram account while at Anime Expo 2014 and eventually branched off onto Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube. Thanks to social media, I have been able to meet a lot of great new friends and connect with tons of fans.
What I Like to Do
I am from Southern California and love to attend as many Anime Conventions as I can. When I am not posting on Social Media, you will likely find me volunteering for Aniplex (through AC Paradise) as a Kirito cosplayer at the booths and official events.
I often do that work at Anime Expo and Sakura Con.
Other Interests
When I am not cosplaying or watching Anime, I do have several other interests.
I play in a band called GoDreamerGo. I sing, play guitar, and write songs.
I am a huge computer nerd and love to build PCs and toy around with different operating systems (Ubuntu, BSD, OS X, Windows, and more).
I am also a huge foodie. I love to try new restaurants out and love to cook.
